Vijay A.L Vijay Movie Titled Thangamagan?

As per unconfirmed reports Vijay next movie with Director A.L Vijay has been Titled as Thangamagan. Vijay pairs up with Amala Paul in the movie and Santhanam plays the comedian role. Currently the movie shooting is going on in Mumbai while most of the movie shooting is expected tot take place in Spain.
Thangamagan music has been scored by G.V Prakash while Cinematographer is done by Nirav Shah. Vijay is all set to sing his 25th song in Thangamagan for which lyrics has been written by Na y Na. Muthukumar.

Thuppakki Breaks Overseas Box Office Records!

Ilayathalapathy Vijay’s Thuppakki is not only ruling Kollywood Box Office, the movie is also breaking all sorts of records in Overseas Box Office collections. Thuppakki Box Office collections in overseas markets like Malaysia, USA, UK and Australia are superb.
In Malaysia, till date Thuppakki has collected a staggering 8.77 crores, while in UK and Ireland till date the movie has collected 1.68 crores. In USA Thuppakki has netted Rs 2.51 crores while in Australia the film has collected Rs 46.73 lakhs.

Actor Vijay completes 20 year in Tamil cinema

Ilayathalapathy Vijay is completed 20 years in Kollywood on December 4. The actor has completed 54 films in this time and has delivered several hits periodically in the Tamil industry. The actor has just completed his success run with 'Thuppakki' after delivering another hit in the form of Nanban early this January.

Many of Vijay's films have went on to become hits. The long list of films include 'Poove Unakkaga', 'Love Today', 'Kadhalukku Mariyadhai', 'Priyamuda', 'Thulladha Manamum Thullum', 'Kushi', 'Priyamaanavale', 'Friends', 'Ghilli', 'Thirupaachi', 'Sivakasi', 'Pokkiri', 'Kaavalan', 'Velayudham', 'Nanban' and 'Thuppakki'.

After the setting the stage on fire several times over the years, one can look at Vijay's career and be impressed by his statistics of producing hits. Despite several names appearing on and off Kollywood, the actor has managed to stay on track with his films and continually hold on his own with his growing number of fans.

Thuppakki collects Rs 100 crore at Box Office

Thuppakki has become the biggest hit of 2012. The film, which was released on Diwali, has turned out to be the highest-ever grossing film of Vijay's illustrious career, as the film has crossed the 100-crore mark at the Tamil Box Office.

On Friday (November 23), Thuppakki reached the 100-crore mark at the Box Office and also it is the second Kollywood film to reach the feat after superstar Rajinikanth's Endhiran. The news has been officially confirmed by director AR Murugadosshimself. On his Twitter, he wrote, "Yes bullets, it is now officially confirmed that #Thuppakki has crossed the 100cr mark! It is only the second Tamil film ever to do so!"

Thuppakki earned an astounding Rs 9.25 crore on the opening day and managed to collect Rs 22.15 crore at the Tamil Box Office in the first three days. The film earned Rs 65.25 crore worldwide in the six-day weekend of which it fetched Rs 45 crore from Tamil Nadu alone and reached the 100-cr mark on 11th day after its release.

The film was released worldwide in over 1000 screens. Thuppakki, which stars Vijay, Kajal Aggarwaland Vidyut Jamwal in lead roles got limited number of screens abroad due to the release of other language movies like Jab Tak Hai Jaan and Son of Sardar. However, it made good business in the UK, US and other regions.
